Instant Delicious Olive Paste (Mum’s Recipe)

Olive Paste

1 ½ cups; Prep 3 mins


  • 200g pitted kalamata olives
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 roughly chopped red onion
  • 1 roughly chopped garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts


  1. Place the olives, oil, red onion, garlic and walnuts in a blender.  Blend for 2 minutes until a paste forms.
  2. If you want to change consistency, just add a bit more oil.
  3. Variance: if you want to have a more creamy flavour, add 1/2 cup of cashew cream.
  4. Put into a small airtight container and keep refrigerated until required.
